To celebrate we've just released a music video filmed in Guanajuato, Mexico which was the birthplace of Chrystal Für 3 years ago.

I'm extremely excited to share the new song "I'm Losing You". The accompanying video is very personal for me as it features my daughter and much of the footage was shot in Iceland...a trip that had a big influence on this album. It explores themes of loss, change, communication, and progress: The changing of a daughter from child to young woman, humanity's effects on the environment, communication (or lack thereof) in the modern age, and what we gain or lose through human and technological evolution.

I was asked by Cast the Dice to put together a mixtape of music that influenced my upcoming album Elusion. I created a loose musical timeline that dips into important early musical moments including being freaked out in the basement as a toddler listening to "Yellow Brick Road" by Elton John and Black Sabbath albums, to contemporary artists that constantly inspire me like
Jóhann Jóhannsson, A Winged Victory For The Sullen, and Max Richter. Join me for an hour musical journey... I am ecstatic to share with you the world-wide release of the new Chrystal Für/Echo Collective collaboration available today March 26, 2021!! This video gives you just a taste of the almost 11 minute track produced and performed by Echo Collective, whom have contributed their sublime string talents to some of my favorite albums by Stars of the Lid, A Winged Victory For The Sullen, Jóhann Jóhannsson, and Erasure as well as releasing their own albums including a string ensemble reimagining of Radiohead's Amnesiac and a stunning collection of original songs from 2020 called The See Within. I feel blessed to have been fortunate enough to work with them on this epic track from the upcoming Elusion album.

Elusion officially comes out on May 28, 2021, but is now available for pre-sale on Bandcamp and iTunes and through Bandcamp (soon on iTunes as well) you will get "Requiem" and other singles instantly as they are released before the full album becomes available. I'm honored to have been asked by TJ Norris of ToneShift to contribute an unreleased Chrystal Für track to the Sound + Solidarity podcast being released July 4. My track is called "Rising Rain" and is a contemplative, moody journey with a touch of hope. I'll be in the company of 29 other experimental composers...all exceptional...who have contributed unreleased material for this important cause!
